Subject: Andrew Grebneff Memorial Fund - Help Requested
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Volks,

This may be one of those times when it would be good to dig a little deeper into our pockets.

As you may know, Jim Arnott and Joy Hecht contacted us on Saturday and informed us of Andrew Grebneff's unexpected death.

Joy asked if we would head up a collection effort for the family.

We agreed and she posted a link to our roadhaus.com site where PayPal donations could be made.

We then e-mailed Kala, Andrew's wife, and expressed heartfelt condolences from everyone in the VW community.

Since then we have exchanged two emails with Kala.

It saddens us to say "This family could really use our help".

Kala has agreed to allow us to post a copy of our e-mail exchange.

After reading it we think you will agree with us on the need.

Here's the link;

Current Fundraising Efforts,

As of tonight, 11 people have donated $445 to our Andrew Grebneff Memorial Fund.

If we all chip in a little I think we can really ease some of the pain for this family.

You can make a PayPal donation at this link:

http://roadhaus.com/PIF.html

Maggie and I will cover all the PayPal and Bank transfer expenses so that 100% of your donation goes to the family.

If you would prefer to send a check or money order, please contact us via e-mail at (lchase@roadhaus.com) for instructions.

Once all donations are in, we will make a lump sum bank transfer to the family.

Thank you in advance for your help.
