Scott, I think that a total step-by-step recipe with part numbers for an electrical oil pressure gauge that doesn't disable the warning lights and that is not going to suffer from vibration problems down the line would be a very valuable thing. Many people don't have your mechanical sense and what seems easy to you is not to everyone.
