With rebuilt transmission and differential. Trip from Bend, Oregon, to Newport, Oregon, then up the coast to Astoria, Oregon. See http://socal2bend.blogspot.com/2010/09/update-astoria.html It's one thing to run into vehicular troubles when soloing. Quite another when one's spouse is along. So far, no troubles. Note for the archives: we drove across the Cascades on the way to the coast, through rain, heavy at times. I applied Rain-X the morning before departure. The rain just beaded up and hastily crawled off the windshield. I only needed to run the wipers a few times, mainly when behind something that threw off a lot of spray, like a semi. I noticed that other cars were running their wipers full time, at the highest setting.
