I have a 1987 Sharp Half Pint which uses only 400 wats. Sharp also made a 400 Watt Munchkin and there is one on Ebay for $500.00 brand new in the box(  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120468968758&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT )   I use a 750 Watt inverter. The Half-Pint is larger than the Munchkin, which fits in the sink cabinet. Sharp makes newer compacts, but they use 600 watts. The The Wave Box also uses 600 Watts or more. I bought my Half-Pint in excellent condition at a thrift store for ten bucks. Robert 1982 Westfalia

We need to install a microwave oven in order to sterilize medical supplies so we can continue camping in our 1990 Westy.   Having trouble finding a microwave that will work with a second battery and inverter.  Does anyone have any experience, suggestions or comments?

thank you, catherinelemiuex@gmail.com
