I would drive the van directly back to this shop and have them fix "their problem". Anything you do on your own, after knowing what you now know, puts more culpability on you. Don't go there. I know it's disappointing to not be able to finally just go camping now, but I'd strongly suggest delaying your gratification and have this fixed now. Just my $0.02 ... bob
