one nice way to track down an oil leak is ... just as though you had driven in heavy dust a while, which makes oil leaks show up very nicely is .. baby powder ! ( good geman stuff works best, but you can fake it with stuff from whatevermart )

you sprinkle the white powder around on the suspected leak spots .. if it's at a hose junction ...it'll be apparent where a leak is.
