dear florian what state are you in what state did the pick up happen in what state was contract signed all very important ... including does he have the ability to cross state lines where is your van now ...

it is very likely that you may have an insurance issue here if your van is still insured ... because in effect he has stolen your van ... Sherrifs in the county the hauler resides in may be able to impound van and trailer till sorted out

i would talk to a lawyer ... Surely one of us is a lawyer ... hello ...

might be time to check and see if Senate Bill 1070 has any jurisdiction ... but before you make another move ... make sure your van is solidly in a secure parking lot ..governed by a judicuary
