Thanks  -  Upholstery question - TR3 rave

1. Thanks to everyone who responded to my oil cooler (they were AC
condensers) question. I'm greatly relieved.

2. Peregrine fille is an '82 Westy with what may be original
upholstery (who knows for sure, unless a bus has had just one owner).
The driver's and passenger's seat vinyl is in great shape, but the
cloth is worn through. What I want to do is to take out all the
original upholstery (and curtains), bag it, and replace it with
Pendleton wool (Native American designs).

I've no doubt that the wool will be fine for curtains, but does anyone
know whether it will stand up as seat upholstery? I'm going to
ScotchGard it. Should I sew it onto heavy canvas to stabilize it?

(Maybe one in 20 listees will know the answer to this question.)

3. Peregrine fille is one of those brown '82 Westies that always seem
to have oxidized paint. I'm using TR3 on it and wow! I don't like to
drive an eyesore to public campgrounds because, uh, it's not nice. The
TR3 is eliminating the eyesore status from this bus.
