I bought some last week for a non-automotive project and had to look
hard to find any. The home stores did not have it. The auto parts
store folks had all see the infomercial (I hadn't) but they didn't
carry it. Harbor Freight had a version called X-treme mending tape or
similar, and even they were not sure until they went and looked. At
five dollars a roll, it was a great bargain and fixed some badly
leaking flexible plumbing pipe perfectly. At least it bought me some
time until I can replace it. I will definitely be getting a roll for
each car.

What is shown on the Rescue Tape web site regarding those stores is a series of simple ads for those outlets. They don't sell the stuff. I've asked. Some of them actually sell other brands of silicone self bonding tape. I suspect they just pay some fee for their names to scroll by on the screen at the Rescue Tape web site. Seems a strange setup, but then what makes sense in the world? DMc
