I've got the entire cabinet section out of my Westy right now to treat the small bit of rust that's behind the stove section. When I removed the propane lines and the water tank, I unscrewed the metal plates from the bottom of the van and found the foamish gaskets falling apart. Does anyone know where I can get these or have any advice on what sort of material I can use to make my own(and where to get it)? I've searched the normal avenues of Bus Depot, Vanagain, Gowesty, etc. Also, I'm going to replace the stock fiberglass insulation behind the fridge with something that won't absorb moisture. Does anyone have any advice on this? I've heard of people using closed cell foam and a few other things, but I'm not sure where to get any of this stuff. If you have any advice for this, I'd appreciate it!
