Here's a slightly "green" recycling way to go. I work for a uniform rental company and we handle MANY rubber floor mats. Our company is very quality conscious and is always pulling the older mats out of circulation due to rips or paint damage, etc. These damaged or worn out mats are sent back to the manufacture to be recycled. If you called your local company and told them what you would use it for, they might just let them go rather than pay shipping back to the manufacturer. These things are thick rubber on the bottom, tough carpet on top and come in different colors. Cut one to fit in the "kitchen" area of the Vanagon - red one - works very well. I always pull it out after a camping trip, knock it against a tree, sweet out the floor area and throw it back in. Works well! Pete '79 Westy "Aardvark" '87 Westy "JoesVan" WWW.Busesbythebeach.com
