Hi Jack,

The Sunforce is pretty big compared to most of the other Dual Sensing Charging Relays I have seen. I have installed the Yandina Combiner 100 as well as the Blue Seas 7160 ACR in vanagons. I like the Blue Seas unit the best, as it is more robust overall and allows the installer to choose the gauge of wire run to the unit (the Yandina is pre-wired with 10GA, which is kinda minimal in my oppinion).

I purchased my Blue Seas 7160 from Peter Kennedy Yacht Supplies online. I got good service and good pricing. They are currently available for $62.00: http://shop.pkys.com/blueseasystems7610solenoidsiseries120a1224vacr.aspx

I also prefer the Blue Seas unit because it is capable of handling 120A constant current, so it is good to go for high output alternators and most engine conversions.

Hope this helps,

Jay Brown

However, I just discovered this item for a "hi-tech" management of the Aux battery in a vehicle.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882260035

Need some expert opinions in configuring my battery set-up.
