I too "like" the ignition keyed cap on mine...but what I really "love" is the big hiss....it's like letting a locked snake out of cage !    Rick 90 Westy ________________________________ From: Andrew Martin <ramblinvan@GMAIL.COM> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Sent: Thu, September 16, 2010 11:34:51 AM Subject: Re: locking gas cap OK.  Some numbers to further confuse the matter... I have 4 locking gas caps in front of me. The (3) caps with VW part # 251 201 553 will open with an ignition key and with any of the 4 different ignition keys that I have. The single cap with VW part # 251 201 551C will only open with the smallish GAS key but none of the 4  different ignition keys I have will even fit in the cylinder.  No surprise after looking closely at them cuz the inside of the cap is considerably shorter and smaller than the other caps. I like the cap that requires the ignition key so I don't forget the cap after filling up.
