  On my two "88 GL's - the ignition  and the gas cap are fitted to the
same key. In this way, you cannot forget and leave your gas cap behind
on top of the gas pump. If you forget, and get in the car, leaving the
cap un-restored, there is no key with which to start the vehicle.
