I found a pair of Electrovoice 15TRX speakers in a flea market for $50. They were from the 70's. Probably too new for pre-60's radios. They are probably too big too. They have 15" cone and weighs 49 lb each. They sound really awesome. Takes only 3 watts to produce huge sound from tube amps. They came with a pair of real wood classic cabinets. I had to haul them home on my Vanagon. I saw a pair of them sold on ebay for over $700 just for the drivers no cabinets. They are worth for sure more than my tires. Better look for classic speakers from flea markets than junk yards.

I'm going to get a new CD player with iPod in and remote for my Westy. But I'd like to get junkyard speakers. I did a search on those two words and got zip. Any advice? What should I look for?
