Mark and volks.

Throw out all that westy stuff and get ONE Klipsch La Scala.  Quite efficient works fine with 20W RMS.  However the audio working volume of your cleaned out vanagon is a bit short for excercising the Klipsch to its full potential.   And then there's the road noise thing.  And don't park next to any squirrels that may disagree with your choice of perfomer and retinue.  Try a vintage Leonard Bernstein and the NY Philarmonic  and _Mars the Bringer of War_ from Holtz's  The Planets. Do this at home.

One has choices.  True audio excellence or camping. There are alternate solutions involving fruit-flavored doo-dads and fashionable dangly things stuck in your earbones.

Now look into MB Quart 5.25 inch speakers for the doors and ADS Plates for the overheads.  Worked for Warren.

BlaupBlaup also makes auto audio speakers.
