Well Sallye, it looks like you need a new catalytic converter and a new oxygen sensor. Sorry, but it costs money to keep our old beasts going, and the environmental requirements are necessary to keep the old earth going. So hustle out and get what it takes to keep the vehicle compliant. There really aren't any legitimate short cuts to this.
