auto trans ? it's a 1.9 I believe, and where the four main hoses come together by the forward side of the engine.. on an auto trans version there are smaller hoses on the bottom of the plastic junction thing ... that go to the auto trans oil cooler, and back.,

that's all that comes to mind that fits your description.

I'll tell you one hose that commonly deteriorates on 1.9 wbxr's .. that's the hose that goes off the forward and right end of the metal pipe across the top of the engine .. it's under the air filter so not normally seen much .. but that hose , which is heater return , I've had them get tired.

and this other one, *for sure* - the hose going forward from the front side of the right head ( under the air filter also ) .. those have a lot of heat and stress on them and commonly fail.

some of the cooling system diagrams are not so great.
