With 4 kids, I use my middle seat pretty much every day so it stays in the van.

But when I bought the van, it was not bolted down and was sitting sideways against the wall. The guy I bought it from was a brick mason and although the carpet was totally trashed in the passenger area, the seats are in surprisingly good shape.

The only problem we generally have is the age old question - "who gets to use the middle armrest?"
