I disagree wholeheartedly with your erroneous conclusions! ;) "The List" didn't do anything for Andrew, the people on the list did. I am the same person on The List as off it - I'm helpful and informative at work , I pull over to help people broken down on the highway, I take care of my neighbour's child when he's rushed to hospital with heart problems and I spent 7 years as a young man doing charity work at a dollar a day. I know that there are many other people on The List who behave similarly in their lives. The List didn't help Andrew's widow, the people on The List did.
The more interesting question is; what is it about VW buses that attracts thoughtful, outward-looking, helpful, generous people?
