I did a lot of research on deep cycle batteries a few years ago when I was putting one into my van. Back then Odyssey batteries were actually made by Hawker Energy, and you could get them significantly cheaper under that brand name. I would imagine that is still true. Also I believe GoWesty sells a Hawker Energy deep cycle battery as part of their house battery kit.
