  I just recently bought an 83 Diesel Vanagon Westy with a 5-speed
transmission and diesel heater.  It is in pretty nice shape for it's age
and the fact that it is on the east coast and of course being an 83
Westy with the 5-speed transmission and a diesel heater it is super
duper rare.  It needs an engine so I put it on the samba for $1500.
Sold in about two hours.  The new owner is going to put a Turbo Diesel
out of a Quantum in it which I think will be a great match.  He is
planning on taking it on a trip from Florida to Alaska next summer.
Another Westy to a happy home!
