A long time ago when I was a kid going to school I worked in a large busy family restaurant (remember them!) named Frans.

The St. Clair Street branch had one of the first commercial microwaves, made by Litton, and we used to send the new guy to the microwave with an egg and tell him to cook it hard.

Much laughter for the established cooks while the new guy spent an hour cleaning the microwave...
