this confuses me. I am considering the same thing, but for my waterboxer 2.1. What do you mean by, " ... that would fit vertically on to the D-Pillar hole vacated by the WBX airbox and idle control unit."? I do know that the tencentlife cooler fits in the D-pillar, but I did not know it was in a " ...space vacated by the WBX airbox and idle control unit." Of course, with my waterboxer, those components are essential. DMc
