Greg,

Plenty of discussion on this in the archives. The plastic button needs to be repositioned. Try manipulating with a pin so it lines up with the adjustment hole. If not, you will to disassemble the cluster and try to adjust from behind or replace altogether. Most of the time (no pun intended), manipulating from the works just fine.
