Subject: "87 Westy bunch of wires disconnected
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Opened up the wiring harness to install relay kit today and found what looked like the brake fluid indicator cable with white two prong tip disconnected and tucked. Then I started probing and found what looks like the yellow thin lead coming from the instrument cluster. Possibly why my gas gauge hasn't ever worked. Two other mystery white plastic clips w/ red(thin) wires were dangling as well. Got all reconnected but I had a question before I "fire" it up. Does anyone know for sure if the the third yellow wire off of the white plastic cluster attached just behind the gas gauge leads to a connect that has a yellow connect and a larger GREY wire. I have yet to drop my gas tank to see the color of the wire from the sender so I wanted to be sure. "the Book" doesn't specify as far as I can tell.

thanks, Chris
