beautiful Indian Summer ? .. it's blazing hot like 90 + in Medford .. no relief from sun and heat at all. If someone was tied up in my parking lot here, they'd die in about 15 hours, it's that brutal here.

8 X 1.25 metric is the thread. they are hardened somewhat I think ...

I recall 37 ft lbs I think. I used a torque wrench on some recently. It was a lot of force to get them that tight. I normally do them by feel.. and none of my CV joint screws ever get loose. Good idea to check them after a week or so of course.
