too bad for all the people who got the shaft here.  I hope they can recover from the dealership's owners.  that depends on how deeply the owners had protected themselves by corporate means.  A joint lawsuit against the owners personally, the dealership (its corporate liabilities still exist until a bankruptcy settlement releases it from some of them), and GM.  Meanwhile, they need to try the case in the media to the maximum possible degree, putting as much pressure as possible on the thieves.  Whatever documentation the duped buyers have is of course of major importance.

Now, whoever said that prepaid service was good for anyone except the seller of the service?  It just doesn't work out, on average, to handle maintenance and repairs that way.  Certainly, on average, one spends more in the long run.
