Hey Y'all, Rear speakers in my '87 Westy (w/air) are blown. They are mounted into the front of a "box" hanging from the air conditioning enclosure on the ceiling at the back of the van. Not obvious how it comes apart to get at the speakers & wiring. I looked in the archives, only hit was from 2001 & the writer had to cut the old speakers out from the front & use new ones that had front mounting screws. While I'm in there I want to run new speaker wire, the stuff used in my van is pitiful. From the way the wire is routed I can't believe it's factory, so it must be jack-leg aftermarket. Any updates on rear speaker replacement since 2001? Thanks Ron Komoroski |
