Closed non-main pubic highways in Nevada, once a year.

Roads that go very straight for miles. Cars are run at intervals. Very hard to believe this.. but I am pretty sure I read one time the open class was won by a kid in a highly modified Camaro at some insanely high average speed....around 200 mph.
