Hi Rob,

Others have answered the second question, I'll answer the first. You can't find "the forums link" because there isn't one. vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com is a mailing list. You want forums, try:

www.thesamba.com www.volkswagenforum.com forums.vwvortex.com/forum.php?id=1 www.cars-guide.com/volkswagen-forum/ www.dubnetworks.net/ volkswagenownersclub.com/

And about 6,940,000 other links that the googles finds when searching for "volkswagen forum."

Volkswagen mailing lists are a bit more exclusive. The googles only finds 179,000 links for them.

Oh... you know that there IS a vanagon-subaru mailing list on yahoogroups, right? Go to groups.yahoo.com and search for it. You'll find your brethren. Those folks know tons about that particular conversion.

Regards,

Jim
