spray soapy water .. that'll make an exhaust leak stand right out.

for small leaks I usually use a 'listening tube' .. a two foot piece of hose about 3/8 inch ID.

when you get to the leak ...it's very obvious, with that method. but you said ...not using ears, so ....soapy water sprayed around.

or hold up a stick of burning incense - the leak can be seen in the smoke trail from the incense. Scott www.turbovans.com
