I would rather have the design for the SKF bearing and fender washers. Rather than the VW part requiring lots of money.

OK, I will try to get pix posted to show the installed roller. I the mean time here is what I did:

a) remove the broken VW roller from the axle that it revolves on. b) go to my local friendly machine shop and buy a bearing with the exact id and similar od c) install a fender washer with shaft size id and od larger than the bearing. d) install the bearing on the axle e) install another fender washer, a small normal washer and locktite the nut.

the bearing runs on the body track and the fender washers keep it from falling off the track. After a year everything looks great.
