I would add:

I suggest you test fit the bearings onto your spindles BEFORE you spend time pressing them into your hubs.

Otherwise you may learn the hard way (like I did) that all Vanagon front wheel bearings are not the same....and even if you thought you ordered the correct ones who knows what mods a PO did to the vehicle.
