No, the rear heater fan motor is weaker and thus the switch for it does not get as much stress. Given that the rear also generally gets used much less it's switch should be a better bet when scrounging used ones.

The rear A/C fan motor is practically the same as the dash fan motor. The fan switch for the later rear A/C can be used for the dash fan as well but it is not an exact match.
