You asked R&R time, not R&R + repair time. I can have the dash and the heater assy in my hands at the boneyard in about 45 minutes. There's just not that much to it. (4 screws, a multi pin connector (instruments), 10 screws, 2 bolts, a few wires, the heater knobs (dash) followed by four screws, two hoses and couple more wires (heater assy)) You might consider spending $25 at the local pick n pull for a 2nd heater assy. Rebuilt it at your leisure. Install in an afternoon AND see exactly how it comes apart on a rig you don't have to drive tomorrow!
