On boats it's the other way around -- you have to energize the solenoid to open the valve. Incidentally, Dave, people in boats actually cook while underway. In rough weather sometimes, where the cook has to be jammed (or tied) in place just to work. Using stoves (although propane is now much more common) where they have to slosh liquid fuel (alcohol) around the cabin every time they light the stove. Should they stop? Yours, David |
