if you're sure you have the right copper metal rings ..
aside from examining the sealing surfaces very carefully ..
I'd tighten it more, personally, see if that helps.
29 ft lbs is not very much.
there are many torque specs that seem too light to me.
pressure isn't too high somehow, right ?
maybe it's the amzoil, lol.
I'm temped to say 'don't try too hard.'
get some decent copper sealing rings, that fit right, even used ones..
make sure things are clean and smooth , and
tighten down the banjo bolts good and tight ...
use ordinary ATF until you get through this issue.
consider if pressure is too high, PS pump is being driven too fast..
screen is clogged in resevoir ..
steering rack is weird, etc.
Mostly I almost never have a problem with leaks there ..
so it has to be some variation of something is not right somewhere, or worn
badly ..
or wrong parts or workmanship is a factor.
You won't *always* get the best result by trying to be 'too perfect' ,
believe it or not.
