your secret is you know all the 300 lubrication points on a Vanagon,
not fair for the rest of us :)

I get dead vanagons going and alive again all the time,
I do engine conversions ..
valve and head jobs etc. etc. etc. ..
and seldom to I go nutty bleeding.
I never go nutty bleeding  actually.
if it needs a lot of bleeding something is wrong.

I mainly keep feeding them coolant until they won't take anymore, and
until
there's no air space in the top of the pressure bottle when it cools
down.

not need for anything complicated or fancy at all.
