Hello Jack,

    I know better than to assume, but if this a gas engine: make sure the
coolant is full.........bring the engine up to operating temp........ pull
the plugs........get a cooling system tester and pressure up the
system........let set till engine is cool.........with a helper to spin the
engine over while you watch for coolant/water "spitting out the plug holes",
    If exhaust can get out, coolant can get in under pressure of 15 or 20
lb's. The key is being at operating temp.
    Also there is a tool that will check for exhaust in the gas that an good
tool truck will have.
