The irony is that just the night before, I pondered a "road fix" solution for adding a rear light to the bumper area. Some kind of "everyman" solution that would take power from B+ at alternator straight to a light bolted to the tow loop at bumper. Light would have a switch on it. Don't know if such a light is an off the shelf FLAPS item though. Ultimately wiring in a 3 way switch system would be nice. YOu could turn it on at rear or in cab. I'm sure that's been done.
