Its good to have a partner when backing up in the rainy dark - keeps me from

Or just use the light only to see where the road leads...that police type spotlight shines well for about half a mile...

Also very useful for scoping out possible very stealthy spots on small forest tracks without actually turning the whole van into an 'iffy' situation or chancing getting run down as you slow and try to angle your headlights for a gander...
