Neat! What a good tool this internet and digital/cyber stuff is. But that sound stumps me.

I would not say rod knock or main bearings...Doesn't sound like many motors I have had, those running on their last legs that have later grenaded a motor...The sound is too intermittant for that, in my not so informed opinion. It could easily be something with the intermediate shaft or the dist drive.. For peace of mind, cut open your oil filter and check for metal flakes...that will tell you if you have bearing problems.
