Do you use the >foul-smelling, black-stain-causing mineral stuff, or the >translucent, slightly sweet smelling synthetic stuff? I didn't get a faceful, so the humor was much easier to see. It's not mine, but it's the dino oil. Didn't smell as sulfurous as I expected, but enough. I'm chiefly bummed about the welding jacket which I'd forgotten I was wearing. Have to get it dry-cleaned I suppose. Beierl in my case is misspelled from Baerl which I'm told means 'Bavaria' in Plat-deutsch. There is a Beierl who's a famous pursuer of Hitler history, and I think most Beierls live in Switzerland. I believe my paternal great-great grandfather was Bavarian. He came to Buffalo and started a brewery -- Simon Pure Beer. My mother's people were here for the Revolutionary War, dunno on what side. Yours, David |
