I've mentioned this accessory more than once and the headlight relay thread reminded me to do it again. Next time your at the wreckers, pick up one of those small fuse "panels" found on later model golf/beetles (2000- 2004?) . They are attached to the battery and you often find them just hanging in space after the battery has been removed. I think I paid less than 20 bucks for mine. They have a short pigtail of 4 gage (a guess) wire that connects to the pos. terminal of the battery, but this can be adapted to suit.
