Actually the major goal is the transmission. One manual (Millee's Sally) and one automatic (mine). I've had engines out before, but not transmissions. But it just seems such an attractive idea to take them as a unit, do the separation and re-mating out in the open, replace Sally's water pump that has just a touch of play at the sheave...I've got ramps and stands and a jack with ~19" lift.
