For what the thought is worth, why don't we ask Jonce if he could sew his existing screens to enough fabric to sew a zipper to, and make that fit as a replacement. It could be pinned into place and hand-sewn, or, as his kit is supplied, you could use adhesive to keep it in place.

My sewing skills are sew-sew, and I've not tackled zippers yet or I might give it a try.
