Subject: Number of vanagon fuel filters... addon to broke-down email
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

Hi All,

So, I replaced the "main" fuel filter on my vanagon. It's a large cone shaped bosch fuel filter that is inline after the fuel pump.

On every diagram in the Bentley for 1980-1991 I see a small box shaped fuel filter in between the tank and the fuel pump. I don't have this filter. Am i missing it or is there a difference in the 89 GL wolfsburg editions?

Cheers, Harry
