howdy! My "buddy" just toasted the clutch in my Vanagon. '84, GL, 1.8l, manual, 126k miles.

What clutch kits would people reccommend to replace it? sources?

How difficult of an operation is this? Does the engine need to be lifted or can you just drop the tranny?

I wasnt planning on doing this for at least another 20k...
