My '82 Westy started out life as a diesel and was converted to AC at some point. There's a sticker on the driver's door sill attesting to the conversion.

All of the pieces for the heating system on in an aircooled bus are in place, but the cables in the heater controls don't seem to move the flaps. Also, there's a bus-length (roughly) of coiled cable resting in the spare tire, with one end going through the body to the dash. The heater controls don't move it, either.

So here's my question. Is there any other cable from the dash that's bus-length (or van-length)? It is cable for sure, not electrical wire.

Mark '82 Westy
